What about a lie makes people do it? Why do we need so many masks, why do people lie? Most importantly why are lies so devastating to me?

I cannot understand the purpose of a lie, why wouldn’t I want to show my heart and soul to those that love me? Last night I was watching those that are closest to my heart, my love ones, lie to each other, and to me. As I was witnessing this, all I could think was why? And my heart was just breaking with every lie. I can’t do it any more; I can’t pretend that I believe you, that I don’t see all of your deception.

Don’t you see it? How can you love me and lie? How can you go through life deceiving those that are closest to you? For what reason? Maybe that is what I need to understand, maybe there is a bigger issue, may be a lie isn’t just a lie.

If you really understand how devastating your lies are to my heart, would you still do it? I believe you would, I believe a liar is always a liar, they have no regard for other humans, the intention is to hurt and destroy…

I can’t forget, I can’t forgive… I want to, but I can’t… I have lost my friend, my best friend… just for a lie… and you call me cynic! Give a reason not to be.

I am a dreamer, I dream about a perfect friend.
My perfect friend is a person that will be there for me always, that will fly with me on my pink cloud, that will see the world with their own eyes but also can see it through mine without any judgement. My perfect friend will open their heart to me without any reservations, just the way I will open mine to them. My perfect friend will be open, clear, and never will hide behind their own shame to make me feel shame. My perfect friend will never lie... I thought I had a perfect friend once, but I didn't... it was just a dream.
I am a dreamer, I am still dreaming...

I make art for me, to feed my soul, to ease my pain, to feel closer to everything I miss, everything I left behind. Missing Sofi

So my Sofia is in San Diego today, she is dancing in a ballet competition. It is really weird the fact that I am not with her. She is dancing at this very moment...
I am sad, because I am not with her, I am happy for her, because she has the opportunity to do this, I am proud, because she is my baby, and she can do this alone, she does not need me. At the same time I am sad... did I secretly wanted her to need me? Oh NO!!!! that would be sick! or is it normal? I don't want her to need me I want her to want me... yes! that is better.
